We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents and supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse in their roles.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering person-centered care. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating care to residents across the home, ensuring that individual needs, wishes, and goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Social Support: Provide emotional support to all residents, ensuring that care provision is holistic and person-centered.">
  • Care Coordination: Support the coordination of care needs of residents across the home, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration.">
  • Leadership: Lead and supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.">
  • Medicine Management: Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation, and policies.">

About You

  • ">
  • Qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) or Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training to obtain required qualifications.">
  • Skills: High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.">
  • Qualities: Ability to understand and use information technology and programs, and to learn new skills as required. Current National police check. Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.">
  • Purpose: Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in an organisation.">
