About the Role

As a Journey Expert in our Home Loans Portfolio, you'll play a key role in designing, producing, and managing a straightforward range of home loans products where customers and bankers are supported by simple and automated processes within easy-to-use systems.

This role is responsible for liaising with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining an Excel serviceability calculator to be used by all Brokers/Mobile lenders to support home loans policy
  • Leading streams of work within the squad and supporting the Product Owner in managing deliverables
  • Identifying the scope and capacity to deliver each deliverable before providing inputs into the overall delivery roadmap and plan
  • Gathering and translating business needs into consumable requirements, including leading elicitation workshops, analysis, specification, and validation of requirements
  • Identifying and analyzing impacted business processes, including understanding of as-is and to-be processes
  • Undertaking analysis in collaboration with stakeholders to fully comprehend problem statements and deliver future state options
  • Engaging with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, sharing updates, seeking feedback, and responding to feedback
  • Ensuring potential and active risks and issues are captured, assessed, managed, and mitigated in a timely manner
  • Working with squads and stakeholders to translate high-level goals into detailed plans, business impacts, communications, training needs analysis, and change interventions
  • Planning, facilitating, and managing testing activity for deliverables, including UAT, BVT, and DRH
  • Creating and maintaining supporting materials, including knowledge management guides, process maps, business impact assessments, operational risk assessments, and product variation documents
Requirements
  • Proficiency with Excel VBA
  • Exposure to Home Lending processes and credit policies preferred
  • Experience across various delivery functions, such as business analysis, risk management, and implementing change
  • Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and influencing skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to find clear paths through ambiguity and make decisions within broad direction and boundaries
  • An eye for detail, with a willingness to iteratively improve precision and clarity
  • A passion for user experience in shaping solution design outcomes
  • Strong knowledge in agile delivery, data modeling, process mapping, and/or complex integration requirements
  • Expertise in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to learn on the job, navigate through ambiguity, and demonstrate a growth mindset
