Embark on a rewarding career in mining with Programmed, a leading employer in Australia and New Zealand. We are currently seeking motivated Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates to participate in a 24-month Haul Truck Traineeship at THIESS Mt Arthur.

This competency-based traineeship leads to a nationally recognized qualification, Certificate III - Surface Extraction Operations, providing an opportunity to launch your career within the mining industry.

As a Heavy Equipment Operator Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in an on-the-job environment, working with a dedicated mentor to support and guide you throughout the process.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends, and will be required to hold a current Car P2 drivers' licence or higher. Additionally, you must be able to confidently drive a manual vehicle.

You will also be expected to provide 2 recent work referees, be available to attend required interviews throughout the recruitment process, and undergo and pass full Order 43 Coal Services Health medical and D&A Test. Furthermore, you will be asked to provide an RMS driving record for consideration if invited for an interview.
