Programmed is seeking skilled and motivated individuals to fill a Heavy Machinery Operator Trainee role in the Hunter Valley.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and experience in operating heavy machinery while working with a leading mining company.

Estimated Salary: $37 per hour

Job Description:

We are looking for individuals who can commit to a 24-month full-time permanent role, working a rotating roster of 12.5 hours, including days, nights, and weekends.

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, developing your skills and knowledge in surface extraction operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current Car P2 drivers' licence or higher
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends
  • Safe and productive work ethic
  • Ability to undergo and pass a full Order 43 Coal Services Health medical and D&A Test

Benefits:

About You:

  • Must be able to confidently drive a manual vehicle
  • Be able to provide 2 recent work referees
  • Be able to provide a local residential address, this is NOT FIFO
  • Able to attend required interviews in the Singleton Office
