Business Development Representative

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.

This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who excels in developing new business opportunities and fostering strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business leads through targeted sales strategies, including cold calling and lead generation.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure exceptional customer service levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to remain competitive.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organization and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
