The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network is seeking a dedicated Home Care Attendant to join our team.

As a Home Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for consumers in their homes. You will work under the guidance of the Case Manager - Aged & Disability to provide essential support that fosters independence and helps avoid unnecessary moves to residential care.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality domestic assistance, such as cleaning, laundry, and personal care. You will also provide thoughtful care in special cases, taking into account the unique needs of each consumer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, and personal care.

  • Work collaboratively with the Case Manager - Aged & Disability to achieve consumer goals and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with consumers, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a community health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
