As a Healthcare Leader - Acute Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supervising and guiding nursing staff, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.


Responsibilities:



  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in an acute environment
  • Supervise and direct Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to ensure smooth delivery of patient care
  • Provide education and support to individuals/patients to manage their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
  • Lead quality improvement projects to deliver desired outcomes and improve patient care
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Maintain a culture of safety and best practice within the nursing team

Essential Criteria:



  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute environment
  • Working with Children check
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with AHPRA (no restriction)
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work across a rotating roster
