Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, effective and efficient mechanical maintenance service to operations
  • Ensure reasonable targets are met with safety as the priority
  • Perform quality inspections of machinery and document as per legislative and operational requirements

About this role:

This is an opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our maintenance team at an open cut mine. The successful person will be responsible for supporting the achievement of safety and production targets by providing a high quality and timely maintenance service.

Main duties include:

Providing mechanical maintenance services that are safe, effective, and efficient

Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols

Inspecting machinery regularly to identify potential issues and document findings according to legislative and operational requirements

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
  • Mechanical trade qualification
  • Knowledge of standards and statutory requirements
  • Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Ability to build proactive relationships and work as part of a team
