Job Description:

We are seeking a Retail Data Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our national retail data collection agency, you will be responsible for activating indoor location services in stores across Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick up a kit from a nearby delivery point or contact person and survey the store by walking around with a special iPhone app to map the surroundings.
  • Attend an online training session prior to the site visit to ensure you understand the requirements and expectations.
  • Arrive at the scheduled site on time, fully charged and ready to work.
  • Record the surroundings using the Mapping iPhone app.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with an operator throughout the day.
  • Complete inductions to enter supermarkets and access restricted areas.

Requirements:

  • Sense of direction and spatial awareness.
  • Patient and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to work comfortably on your feet for extended periods.
  • Effective communicator and self-motivated individual.
  • Availability to map multiple stores in your designated area.
