Compassionate Caregiver for Senior Community

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our KinCare team in Port Macquarie. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry services, to ensure our clients' homes remain safe and comfortable.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating habits and independence.
- Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our clients stay connected with their community.
- Deliver personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to enhance our clients' quality of life.
- Provide respite and emotional support to alleviate caregiver burden and promote overall well-being.
- Transport clients to appointments and provide complex care for those with high care needs, such as dementia.
- A competitive hourly rate of $29.51, plus superannuation, paid KM's, and phone allowance.
- A guaranteed number of hours per week, close to home as a permanent part-time employee.

- 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including personal care skills.
- A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and registered vehicle – travel is an essential aspect of this role.
- The ability to work independently, find solutions to everyday problems, and seek guidance when needed.
- Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts.
Please note that prior to joining our team, we will conduct a National Police Check/Right to Work, functional fitness assessment, and confirm COVID vaccination status.
