We are seeking a skilled Rail Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a long-term career opportunity with a leading mining organization.

This position involves assisting the Shut Lead with planning and coordinating the execution of track works, including scoping, site preparation, and execution. The work centres on the delivery of track materials for pre shut works, heavy involvement in executing shut works, and post shut clean up and demobilisation work banks.

The successful candidate will have experience in planning and scheduling of works, ideally in the track or rail industry. They will also have good communication, interpersonal, and people management skills with a range of audiences, as well as computer literacy with Microsoft suite, 1SAP, and planning systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing input into the planning of track renewals works and the structure of the teams to enable safe and efficient execution of works.
  • Supervising contractor and sub-contractor groups during execution of works to ensure technical and quality standards are achieved safely.
  • Ensuring standards are adhered to and work is undertaken in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prompt completion of supporting and reporting documentation and 1SAP administration.
