Job Title: Home Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Worker to provide essential support services to our ageing community.

Job Description:

  • Cleaning the home of older people so they have a safe and beautiful place to live
  • Assisting with meal preparation, shopping and daily living tasks
  • Providing social support and access to lifestyle activities
  • Personal care including getting them up, showered and dressed for the day, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Providing respite and emotional support
  • Social support and transport to appointments
  • Complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements:

  • You must be passionate about supporting our aged community to live independently at home for longer
  • You require a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle - travel is an integral part of this role
  • Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday - no night or weekend work
  • Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for Managerial support
