Dispatch Operator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the position of Dispatch Operator.

This role involves ensuring the safe loading and unloading of products for transportation to customers, as well as other aspects of supply chain logistics including administration, coordination and planning.

No previous experience is necessary, as training and support will be provided to enable the successful candidate to learn all aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will possess effective communication skills, a proactive attitude, and high levels of attention to detail. They will also be able to think critically and provide solutions to ensure safe and efficient operations.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing, configuring and calculating correct product loads to maximise vehicle capacity, using radio frequency scanners to pick shipments and maintaining accurate inventory levels.

You will also be required to despatch customer orders as per the delivery schedule, load and unload trucks using a gantry crane and mobile equipment, and observe correct loading processes to ensure the quality of product is maintained during transport.
