Job Title:

Cloud Infrastructure Provisioner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Cloud Infrastructure Provisioner. The successful candidate will have experience in utilizing Terraform to provision and configure cloud/network infrastructure in a large scale enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring infrastructure code is built with best practice, maintainability, and modularity considered. They will also validate proposed designs and utilize Ansible as required to automate deployment tasks as part of a build pipeline.

About You:

  • Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in the development, delivery and support of large scale IT solutions in an enterprise setting.
  • Experience using Windows PowerShell scripting to automate the deployment and configuration of software and services.
  • Experience with Terraform in an Enterprise environment.
  • Experience with Ansible in an Enterprise environment.
  • Experience working within a System Development Life Cycle and IT Service Management framework.
  • Experience migrating on-premises workloads to cloud utilising IaaS and PaaS offerings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of utilizing Terraform to provision and configure cloud/network infrastructure.
  • Experience with Ansible automation and/or Ansible Tower/AWX.
  • Expert knowledge in using Powershell and/or Python to automate infrastructure.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems in Enterprise and their supporting systems (AD, DNS, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of automation supporting products (secrets, ipam, pipelines, etc.).
  • Experience utilising TFS / VSTS / GitLab to perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
  • Experience developing automated unit, function and operational tests.
  • Experience working with multiple cloud vendors.
