Overview

Join a team where innovation and impact go hand in hand. We're seeking a AWS Cloud Engineer to deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready solutions for government and enterprise clients in Canberra. This role offers the opportunity to shape modern cloud platforms, embed best practice, and lead the adoption of new technologies in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing, and optimising AWS cloud platforms for complex, large-scale projects.
  • Driving automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) to ensure consistent and secure delivery.
  • Applying cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks aligned to government requirements.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to solve complex challenges with fit-for-purpose cloud solutions.
  • Mentoring engineers and influencing the direction of cloud strategy across projects.
About You
  • Proven hands-on experience with a wide range of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
  • Skilled in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks in government or enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen with eligibility to obtain NV1/NV2 security clearance.
