Our client, a respected builder in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join their team. With ongoing success in the Construction division, this role could be ideal for an experienced Project Coordinator looking to transition into a contract administration position.

About the Role:

  • Maintain accurate and current project information through regular updates of project registers.
  • Assist in preparing monthly cost-to-complete forecasts and progress claims.
  • Contribute to the budget proving process, including programme and labour plan development, and risk register management.
  • Support Project Managers in resolving head and subcontract variation claims.
  • Assess subcontractor and supplier payment claims against cost-to-complete and ensure timely processing.

About You:

  • A tertiary degree, diploma, or relevant industry experience are required.
  • At least two years' experience in a contract administration role is essential.
  • A sound understanding of finance, contract law, and standard forms of contracts is necessary.
  • Developed communication and negotiation skills are crucial.
  • Familiarity with CHEOPS or similar accounting/project management systems is beneficial.
  • Strong negotiation, time management, and attention to detail skills are required.
  • The ability to problem-solve, plan ahead, and mitigate risks is vital.
  • A positive, proactive, passionate, and eager attitude to learn and succeed is essential.
