Job Title: Data Center Capacity Engineer Staff

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Center Capacity Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our operations team to maintain critical facilities infrastructure as part of a close-knit team delivering best-in-class service to our data center customers.

  • Accepting and processing requests for Hub (FIFO method), escalating advanced or complex requests to senior members as necessary.
  • Actively participating in meetings with internal stakeholders such as our Operations Engineers and Sales Engineers.
  • Developing process designs for deployments and resolving issues where possible, or escalating to relevant colleagues as required.
  • Working on more complex/large proposed designs with Manager or Senior Engineers within the capacity team.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have an engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related field, strong technical mindset, and excellent communication skills.

You will also have a key understanding of power and cooling in data centers, or from varied industries where skillset and experience in transferrable.

Additionally, you will have high attention to detail, CAD experience, and ability to attain and maintain complex information.

As a skilled professional, you will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
