The Role of a Senior Software Engineer

As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving our energy management tools. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power system.

  • Develop control room visualization interfaces to support efficient decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong programming skills in Python, preferably using test-driven development and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Quantitative analysis skills, including problem-solving, modeling, and critical thinking.
  • Experience with dynamic power system studies is desirable, as is a tertiary qualification in software or electrical engineering.
