Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient operation of water trucks. This involves reducing cycle times and preventing unnecessary maintenance.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to a strong safety culture.

  • Comply with site-specific Safety & Health Management System policies, procedures, and work practices.
  • Adhere to site Environmental Management Plan and other statutory requirements as required.
  • Effectively communicate with operators and other personnel to coordinate operations.
  • Perform routine re-fuelling and machine inspections.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Site and Company Policies and Procedures.

To succeed in this position, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of one year's experience operating water trucks.
  • Competence in RIIMPO206D - Conduct bulk water truck operations.
  • Proficiency in RIIVEH201D - Operate light vehicle.
  • Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11.
  • Valid Queensland driver's license.
  • Basic maintenance skills within employee's competencies.
