About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate student to join our Aftermarket Sales team as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts and gaining valuable experience in the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Support our after-market sales team on customer visits, developing a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences.
  • Prepare presentations for the wider aftermarket team, showcasing your analytical and communication skills.
  • Follow up on sales leads, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Conduct research on our customer segments, including on-highway, power generation, mining, and marine, to better understand their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to win and maintain new and existing business, developing strong relationships and a deep understanding of our customers' needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of sales strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Create effective customer travel call plans and maintain accurate CRM entries.
  • Prepare for customer face-to-face, phone call, and virtual meetings, developing strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Develop a deep understanding of sales reports and prepare effective presentations, showcasing your analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications
  • Currently studying a degree in Business or a relevant discipline, ideally at an undergraduate level.
  • Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2025.
  • Be available for the full 13 months and willing to defer your studies for that duration.
Requirements
  • Understanding and drive for sales and business development.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer literacy and a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, a team work ethic, and the ability to think and operate autonomously and independently when required.
