Web Development Position Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the development and effective operations of web-based systems, including the college website. As a Web Development Manager, you will be responsible for providing expertise and leadership in web design and management, as well as ensuring the highest level of oral and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to manage web-based systems, provide expertise and leadership in web design and management, and possess high-level oral and written communication skills. You will also have commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, develop and manage the college website (both front-end and back-end)
  • Research best practice in web design, development and management, and implement these within the college
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and boost efficiency, and develop web-based solutions
  • Develop processes to ensure website content is up-to-date, accurate, and high-quality
  • Build interactive website content

Additional Information:

Fountain Gate Secondary College is located in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, approximately 40 kilometres from the Melbourne Central Business District. The school was registered as a Year 7-12 provider in 2009, and prior to that, was a Year 7-10 campus of Eumemmerring College._
