Job Overview

St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking a skilled Neuropsychologist to join its multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in clinical neuropsychology and a strong ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients with emerging dementia disorders, using sound diagnostic skills and knowledge of neuropsychology practice and principles
- Provide high-quality psychoeducation, supportive counselling, and management advice to clients, carers, colleagues, and relevant service providers
- Work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting, utilising excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the assessment and management of adults experiencing changes in cognition and daily function. As a member of the CDAMS-GMC clinic team, you will be working closely with nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, geriatricians, aged psychiatrists, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive care.

Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologist
- Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology from the Psychology Board Australia
- Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology recognised by the Australian Psychological Society (APS)
- Eligibility to register as a Board-approved student supervisor
- Extensive knowledge in dementia and memory loss, with a focus on early diagnosis issues and related psychological, behavioural, social, and health issues
