About the Role:

As a Home Care Worker, you will provide direct care and domestic assistance duties, as well as social support and transport as required for clients.

You will be working with clients in various communities across the Bellarine Peninsula, Queenscliff, St Leonards, Torquay, Portarlington, Belgrave, Leopold, Drysdale and surrounding areas.

To succeed in this role, you will need to ensure that clients' rights, cultural, spiritual and individual needs are respected and incorporated into all aspects of care and daily living.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide effective support to clients, recognize changes in their conditions and escalate observations and concerns according to established processes.

In addition, you will promote quality activities, provide outstanding customer service, maintain friendly, supportive and professional relationships with clients, their relatives and friends, and support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise.

  • A Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or equivalent qualification">

  • Experience in a home care setting or providing domestic support (desirable)">
  • Knowledge in community care with a commitment to high standards of care for clients and their families">
  • Understanding of client-directed care">
  • The ability to thrive in a team environment and appreciate one-to-one interactions">
