About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at the University of Melbourne. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a security presence on campus, conducting foot patrols, escorting people, and ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required. You will also be responsible for writing reports in response to incidents and communicating calmly and clearly with key stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current Victorian Security Licence, a Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations, and a current Valid First Aid Certificate (Level 2) and CPR. You will also need to have a current drivers licence, full Australian Working Rights, and a Working With Childrens Check (or be willing to obtain one). Availability to work a rotating roster is also essential.
