Job Title: Strategic Product Planner

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in driving accurate demand forecasts to ensure optimal availability for core products, new launches, and key promotional materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve rolling demand forecasts
  • Capture market insights, collaborating with the Sales and Marketing team
  • Lead monthly Demand Review process
  • Price modelling using SAP IBP
  • PLCM management: Manage demand planning for product lifecycle events including launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and discontinuations
  • POS management: Analyse point-of-sale (POS) data and market trends to adjust forecasts and identify demand patterns

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of Demand Planning experience within FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or a dynamic supply chain environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative field
  • Proven track record of managing demand forecasts for complex product portfolios
  • Strong proficiency in demand planning systems (SAP IBP ideally) and ERP systems (SAP ideally)
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, etc.); Power BI experience is a plus
  • Experience with statistical forecasting methods and tools
