Job Description

Experian is seeking a skilled Presales Consultant to join our Data Quality team in ANZ. This exciting role focuses on delivering a high-quality experience to our customers during the acquisition and onboarding stages of our Data Quality software and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide sales pitches and provide technical expertise to develop value propositions and serve as a trusted advisor to our customers.
  • Work with clients and partners to design Data Quality solutions that meet clients' needs and clearly explain the solutions' projected Return on investment/business benefits.
  • Perform Proof of Concept or Proof of Value exercises with clients to help position the value of our solutions.
  • Be the internal liaison between sales, delivery, and product teams and ensure the commercial and technical viability of proposed solutions.
Requirements
  • Approximately 3 or more years of experience in presales or sales engineering.
  • Excellent questioning and analysis techniques to identify customer needs, design solutions and identify and track business and technical requirements.
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, as well as strong presentation skills, specifically in the context of workshops and demonstrations.
  • Strong experience solving technical problems and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Experience working with technology and using technology to tell a story that supports a business strategy.
  • Experience in or some exposure to one or more data management disciplines, such as data quality, data governance, single customer view or data migrations.
  • Understand complex data flows through enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Experience with Data Quality projects, including data manipulation and elements of cleansing, standardisation, validation, de-duplication, migration, auditing and analysis.
  • Exposure to Data Quality and Profiling tools such as Informatica, SAP, Trillium, SAS DataFlux, or Talend.
  • Experience with cloud hosting services concepts either AWS/Azure/GCP.
