About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Co-worker. As a Customer Co-worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers, and supporting our sales team in achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, effective, and efficient information to customers
  • Secure that all products passing through the entrance are paid for
  • Support other areas of Customer Relations, including resolving customer service issues and maintaining shopping tools
  • Process returns and resolve customer issues, recognizing when to escalate to someone with higher authorization
  • Handle cash and card payments in a reliable, efficient, accurate, and friendly way
  • Record information accurately in the system to continually improve the customer shopping experience
Requirements
  • A passion for securing the best customer experience possible
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A polite and friendly manner and a 'Togetherness' mindset
  • Able to work closely with your team and other departments or work independently
  • The ability to remain calm when faced with challenging situations
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills, alongside being able to interact with many customers consistently
  • Basic computer and systems literacy
