We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at Australia Wide, a leading food and beverage company. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical and electronic plant control equipment and instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Investigate and resolve automation system errors, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation system performance and efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to OH&S and QA procedures, promoting a safe and supportive working environment.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as automation, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience with PLCs, ControlLogix, HMI's, and SCADA systems.
- Previous experience with MEX is highly advantageous.
- A strong understanding of GMP, 5S, and LEAN manufacturing principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a high attention to detail.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a bonus scheme and access to an onsite wellness centre. You will work day shift hours with some flexibility, Monday to Friday, and enjoy a positive and supportive work environment.
We require candidates to have full Australian working rights and undergo a pre-employment medical.
