The Role

Seeking an Executive Producer with strong Indigenous knowledge and experience. This role drives podcast-first strategy for NITV Radio, positioning it as a leader in Indigenous media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement podcast-first strategy for NITV Radio
  • Effective use of resources and staff allocated to the program
  • Journalism and content production tasks to provide multiplatform content
  • Establish and maintain contact with correspondents and stakeholders
  • Contribute to objectives through cross-language content and initiatives
  • Create audio podcasts using relevant systems and equipment
  • Publish content to third-party platforms

Requirements

Experience in podcast and radio production in a leading editorial role is essential.

Creativity and ability to create engaging and shareable content that speaks to audiences and reaches new ones on digital platforms.

This role collaborates closely with NITV and sits within the Audio and Language Content division.

Affinity with Indigenous issues and communities is vital.

Applicants must identify as being of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
