We are seeking an experienced Family and Relationship Counsellor to join our expanding team of passionate professionals who aim to make Australia a better place.

The successful candidate will provide short-term counselling services for individuals, couples, and families at our Narre Warren and Frankston sites. This role involves working closely with colleagues to develop a coordinated approach to assist clients in resolving relationship difficulties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, solution-focused counselling services to clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve integrated service delivery
  • Develop and implement effective case plans to address client needs
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a counsellor, preferably in a similar context
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with a relevant professional association (ACA, PACFA, AASW, or PBA)
  • Strong understanding of family dynamics, mental health, and the impact of family violence on relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations
