Role Overview

We are seeking a professional to join our team as an Accredited Part-time Exercise Physiologist. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and be passionate about delivering customized exercise interventions.

The Role

This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those with chronic diseases, injuries, and surgical rehabilitation needs. Our team is committed to providing patient-centred care and supporting the progress and outcomes of our clients.

The successful applicant will assess and deliver exercise interventions that cater to individual needs, enhancing health and wellbeing. This role will begin as part-time hours, with the potential to increase to full-time hours.

  • Provision of exercise intervention and education for those at risk of developing a chronic condition or injury.
  • Provision of clinical exercise prescription, for those with existing chronic and complex medical conditions and injuries.
  • Provision of health education, advice, and support to enhance health and wellbeing.
  • Development and promotion of Exercise Physiology within the community.
  • Facilitation of group-orientated rehabilitation classes.
  • Liaising with other medical professionals involved in patient's rehabilitation.

To be successful, the applicant must have or be eligible as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to individual client needs.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

Maintain accurate records and reports of client progress.
