Chief Technology Infrastructure Officer

We are seeking a technically capable and operationally focused leader to join our Technology team in Sydney as a Technical Operations Manager. This role will lead our support function, manage escalations, and ensure the smooth delivery of technology services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead IT Operations – Oversee support services, act as the primary escalation point, and ensure tickets are resolved within agreed SLAs.
- Be the Senior Technical SME – Provide deep, daily hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, networking, and endpoint management, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Drive Operational Excellence – Implement proactive maintenance, improve monitoring, and enhance our endpoint and identity management.
- Manage People & Partners – Mentor and guide Support Analysts, manage rostering and workload, and hold MSPs and vendors accountable for outcomes.
- Deliver Projects – Lead or contribute to technology initiatives such as Windows 11 rollouts, Intune uplifts, and other operational transitions.
You will be a tertiary qualified IT professional with significant experience in technical operations or infrastructure leadership. Proven ability to manage escalations and lead a small team is essential, along with deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, endpoint management, networking fundamentals, and security principles. Strong vendor and MSP management skills, with a track record of driving accountability, are also required.
