Job Overview

As a seasoned Mine Geology Manager, you will be responsible for leading the mine geology function across our diverse portfolio of contract mining, joint venture, and owner-operated sites.

  • Drive the mine geology function across multiple MMS operations to ensure optimal results.
  • Develop and implement robust grade control systems tailored to each site's and client's needs.
  • Standardise and elevate geology practices and systems company-wide.
  • Build and lead strong geology teams: recruit, mentor, and implement succession plans.
  • Oversee mine reconciliation and deliver timely, accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with site teams to align geological models with mine planning and production goals.
  • Provide geological input into contract tendering and review processes.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and uphold compliance at all levels.
Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field (postgrad qualifications advantageous).
  • 10+ years' mine geology experience, with 3+ years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Strong background in open pit gold mining.
  • Proven skills in grade control, mine reconciliation, and team management.
  • Strong understanding of geological modelling tools and mining software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel to site as required.
