Our projects span gold and other valuable resources, and we're actively engaged in strategic partnerships and joint ventures to expand our footprint.Your OpportunityWe're looking for a driven Mine Geology Manager to lead the mine geology function across our growing portfolio of contract mining, joint venture, and owner-operated sites.
This is a unique leadership role with scope to influence the direction of our mine geology systems and develop high-performing site teams.If you're ready to shape your future and make a significant impact at a company that values practical solutions, initiative, and growth—this is your chance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the mine geology function across multiple MMS operations.Ensure grade control systems are robust, fit-for-purpose, and tailored to each site's and client's needs.Standardise and uplift geology practices and systems company-wide.Build strong geology teams: recruit, mentor, and implement succession plans.Oversee mine reconciliation and deliver timely, accurate reporting.Collaborate closely with site teams to align geological models with mine planning and production goals.Provide geological input into contract tendering and review processes.Foster a strong safety culture and uphold compliance at all levels.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in Geology or related field (postgrad qualifications advantageous).10+ years' mine geology experience, with 3+ years in a senior or leadership role.Strong background in open pit gold mining.Proven skills in grade control, mine reconciliation, and team management.Strong understanding of geological modelling tools and mining software.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Willingness to travel to site as required.Why MMS?
