About The Northern Family Violence Program

The Northern Specialist Family Violence Service (NSFVS) provides support services to victim survivors of family violence and their children.

Your Opportunity

Develop an understanding of therapeutic readiness for practitioners referring to family violence counselling.

Supporting Practitioners To
  • Enable the flow of family violence counselling referrals to members of the Counselling Support Alliance
  • To prioritise victim survivor voice and self-agency in referrals made to family violence counselling

Advocate to expand understanding of negative impact on individuals required to engage in multiple service system responses concurrently.

Essential Skills And Experience

A minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or recent employment in the family violence sector or equivalency met through the 7 Equivalency Principles.
