Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent Public Area Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our residential facilities. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional concierge services to our residents, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out thorough cleaning duties in all public areas, including corridors, lifts, and amenities, to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Operate specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently.
  • Provide courteous and professional concierge services, including key security, responding to resident inquiries, and distributing deliveries, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of pool, gym, and shared bathroom facilities, including restocking supplies and maintaining equipment.
  • Remove rubbish and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Prep and maintain cleaning equipment and trolleys for the next shift.
  • Conduct shift handovers and respond to emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance role.
  • A customer-focused attitude, with a commitment to exceeding resident expectations.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Reliability and availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve set tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Clear communication and organizational skills, with fluency in English language.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety and ability to undertake physical demands of the role.
  • Valid Australian work rights.
