Clinical Nurse

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team as part of our efforts to increase workforce capacity and implement ARF and RHD strategies.
**About the Role:**
The ARF/RhD Clinical Nurse will support Congress to embed standardised processes for ARF/RHD management, including staff training, prevention activities, clinical care, and care coordination of people living with RhD. This position will play a key role in increasing our capacity to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based, and sustainable care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement standardised processes for ARF/RHD management
- Provide staff training and education on ARF/RHD management
- Conduct prevention activities and clinical care for individuals with ARF/RHD
- Coordinate care for individuals with ARF/RHD, ensuring continuity and consistency of treatment
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience working in a clinical setting, particularly in ARF/RHD management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills
