Lead Water Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role:

Join our innovative water business as a Lead Engineer, working with experienced professionals to design and deliver water infrastructure projects that make a real difference in communities. As a key member of our national team, you will be responsible for leading engineering teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams in the delivery of water infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely and within-budget completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to develop their skills and contribute to the growth of our business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or nearing eligibility, with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Proven experience in managing and delivering complex water infrastructure projects, with expertise in hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and water facilities.

Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in MS Office and proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, or similar CAD software.
