**Job Title:** Principal Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable Civil/Structural Engineer with excellent technical skills to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy industrial structural design and construction.

As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will provide leadership in designing structures, conceptualize designs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, develop proposals, gather information for project estimates, mentor junior engineers, and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process and exercise independent judgment
  • Conceptualize and finalize engineering designs
  • Manage complex projects from start to finish
  • Develop proposals and gather data for project estimates
  • Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited Civil or Structural Engineering program
  • Possess a Professional Engineer license (optional) and 4-7 years of experience in a high-seismic area
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in structural design software such as Autodesk Revit, Risa 3D, Profis, Mathcad, AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro
