Role PurposeThe Senior Project Manager leads and manages multiple initiatives across the enterprise investment portfolio, comprising lines of business and business areas/functions.
This role involves close liaison with Initiative Owners, Project Managers, Sponsors, Product Managers, Business teams, and Technology Leaders to understand priorities, plan delivery, and execute required deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Financial management and governance of assigned initiatives, collaborating with the Commercial Manager, Finance, and Department Leads.
- Documenting, submitting, and seeking endorsement of initiative-level business cases and associated artefacts.
- Understanding, ordering, and prioritizing initiatives to deliver commercial and strategic goals.
- Responsible for financial tracking and reporting of initiatives to governance bodies.
- Acting as an escalation point for issues requiring portfolio management and/or capability owners' attention.
- Identifying, managing, and recording risks, issues, decisions, and actions at initiative and subsidiary portfolio levels.
- Upholding IDP Policies, including Security and Data Privacy, in all initiatives and jurisdictions.
- Managing initiative outlook and resources, highlighting changes and risks to Initiative Owners and Portfolio Management.
- Representing initiatives in internal and external forums and company communications.
A proven Senior Project Manager with experience in delivering projects that drive strong financial and commercial outcomes.
Effective communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity, with a comfort level in influencing outcomes in a matrix-based organization.
Highly analytical, with the ability to capture and use data and insights to drive decisions and manage budgets.
Experience managing multiple initiatives in a portfolio, with flexibility to work across time zones.
