Your Role: As a seasoned Senior Software Engineer, you'll be a vital part of our Engineering Team. You'll take ownership of improving the technical alignment, health, and engineering practices within your team, ensuring our systems are well-architected and follow industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Oversee the maintenance of system integrity to ensure security, efficiency, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Customer Focus: Deliver customer-centric software solutions that meet business objectives and drive results.
  • Team Development: Develop technical and leadership skills within the team through effective coaching and mentoring.
  • Communication: Engage with stakeholders to effectively communicate technical insights and their business implications.
  • Solution Architect: Manage the balance between rapid delivery and sustainable development of our codebases.
  • Collaboration: Participate in shared operational support responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Minimum 3 years in commercial TypeScript development and extensive experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Node.js, React.js, Jest).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and foster collaboration.
  • Security Awareness: Practices secure coding and proactive in mitigating security risks.
  • Best Coding Practices: Dedicated to ensuring code cleanliness, testability, and effective collaboration through pair programming.
  • RESTful API Experience: Demonstrated experience in constructing and architecting RESTful APIs.
