About the opportunity
Are you ready to take the lead in delivering innovative platform and integration initiatives in a dynamic SaaS environment?
ELMO Software is looking for a passionate Engineering Manager to join our team and oversee the design, development, and delivery of key projects that drive user experience, scalability, and platform integration across our cutting-edge HR technology suite.
Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you’ll lead a talented team of engineers across ANZ and the Philippines, fostering collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement while aligning our engineering capabilities with strategic business goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, inspiring innovation and professional growth.
- Oversee the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure platform and integration solutions
- Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to prioritise sprints, OKRs, and roadmaps effectively.
- Align technical strategies with business objectives while driving continuous process improvement and innovation.
- Ensure seamless integration across ELMO’s suite of products, enhancing user experience and scalability.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
- Scope, plan, and track strategic projects to meet company OKRs on time and within budget.
- Act as a key point of contact for technical escalations and ensure smooth stakeholder communication.
- Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Explore emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and optimise engineering workflows.

**Skills and Experiences**:
What we would like you to bring to the team...
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with cloud architecture, microservices, and integration patterns.
- A track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within scope.
- Experience working across geographies and time zones is a plus, with a strong focus on people leadership and development
