Job Summary

The Role's Key Components
  • Families receive individualized support options designed to cater to each child's unique needs, utilizing assessments, observations, and knowledge of child development.
  • Caregivers are empowered through coaching and skill-building initiatives, enabling them to develop confidence and skills necessary for supporting children across various settings.
  • A collaborative approach ensures children's inclusion and participation in activities they choose, working closely with families, caregivers, and community members.
Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings, tailored to meet their specific requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals within the designated system.
  • Guiding families through the NDIS plan application, implementation, and funding processes.
Qualifications and Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
  • Expert knowledge in child development, including identifying developmental issues.
  • Proven experience in supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
Additional Information

This is a full-time opportunity offering flexible working arrangements. Travel across Camden, Campbelltown, Wollondilly, and Wingecarribee is required. No billable hours apply.
