Bar and Gaming Duty Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar and Gaming Duty Manager to join our team at the Oaks Grand Gladstone Hotel. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the gaming lounge and Grand Pub team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Support the Gaming Lounge and Grand Pub Team: Provide guidance and direction to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality guest experiences.
  • Organize and Direct Food and Beverage Service: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of food and beverage services to meet customer expectations.
  • Promote Food and Beverage Sales: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue growth.
  • Ensure Conference and Functions Packages are Costed and Quoted: Provide accurate and competitive pricing for conference and functions packages to ensure profitability.
  • Coach and Motivate Team Members: Foster a positive and supportive team environment, providing coaching and guidance to enhance team performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Previous Supervisory Experience: Proven track record of leading and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG): Hold current certifications or be willing to obtain.
  • Responsible Management of Licensed Venue (RMLV): Hold current certification or be willing to obtain.
  • Strong Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Positive and Energetic Attitude: Demonstrate a positive and energetic attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Pub and Gaming Experience: Proven experience in the pub and gaming industry, with a strong understanding of operations and customer service.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
