Job Opportunity

Experienced riggers are sought for the installation, rectification and upgrade of telecommunications equipment.

We offer long-term contracts and permanent positions with a negotiable rate based on experience, tools and vehicle.

Telco crews and fully equipped contractors are encouraged to apply. Travel is paid for, kilometres are reimbursed and a full day rate is offered on travel days.

Ongoing metro work is available for those who prefer not to travel.

As a Rigger, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out 5G rollout and upgrades for Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.
  • Assisting technicians in the installation and rectification of equipment.
  • Panning and re-panning antennas, terminating and re-terminating cables, labelling, grounding and sweep testing.
  • Ensuring safe working at heights activities and maintaining quality objectives.
  • Maintaining personal health and fitness to ensure WAH and Tower Rescue ability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic Rigging ticket (Advanced ticket preferred).
  • High Voltage Accreditation.
  • EWP.
  • Current drivers' licence.
  • Construction white card.
  • Safe Work at Heights training.
  • Tower rescue certification up-to-date essential.
  • First aid training including CPR.
  • Radhaz Awareness certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practice.
