Job Overview
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist drug and alcohol services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and case management.
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychosocial interventions for addressing domestic violence, child abuse or neglect issues, and harmful patterns of parental substance use.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including medical specialists, nurses, and allied health staff, to provide comprehensive care plans and monitor clinical outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Extensive post-graduate clinical experience in drug and alcohol counselling, child protection, domestic violence, and/or family relationship issues.
- Demonstrated experience in using advanced reasoning skills, preparing high-quality written and oral reports, and comprehensive care plans.
- Current Driver's License and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
