Job Description

As a Sauce Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality sauces and mayonnaise from scratch using specialized equipment. Your attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict quality control measures are crucial in achieving consistent results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Locate, weigh, and prepare batches of ingredients according to recipes
  • Control and process the mixing of ingredients through specialized equipment to achieve consistent results
  • Monitor product consistency using basic test equipment and interpret results to rectify any inconsistencies
  • Manage ingredient stock levels and report issues to team leaders
  • Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as needed
  • Fully document all work in accordance with internal policies and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Certificate in food processing or commercial cookery (ideal)
  • Previous experience as a Chef or Kitchenhand (preferable)
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a food production facility
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices in a food production facility
