They are dedicated to bringing the vibrant flavours of Lahore to Australia, offering authentic, lovingly prepared Pakistani dishes for family and friends to share.
To support their continued growth, they are now seeking a dedicated Cook to join their team.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Cook, grill, and prepare traditional Lahori dishes.
Prepare spice blends, sauces, and chutneys that capture the essence of cooking traditions.
Wash, peel, and cut ingredients such as vegetables and meats for use in food preparation.
Support the chef in daily kitchen operations and workflow.
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with customer dietary requirements, including managing food allergies and specific ingredient sensitivities.
Ensure all ingredients meet the restaurant's standards for freshness and quality, following recipe guidelines precisely.
Inspect food products and finished dishes to ensure consistency and top-tier quality.
Plate meals with attention to portion size and visual appeal.
Assist chefs in menu development and daily meal planning.
Receive deliveries and safely store stock in hygienic, temperature-controlled environments.
Maintain strict hygiene and safety practices in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety regulations, including proper cleaning and sanitisation of kitchen areas.
Apply expert knife-handling techniques suitable to the cuisine's preparation standards.
Marinate, season, roast, and bake dishes according to traditional recipes.
Participate in the training and supervision of kitchen assistants and junior staff.

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:

Certificate IV level qualification
At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen.
Positive, friendly, and approachable attitude.
Highly motivated and capable of working under pressure.
