Job Title: Disability Support Worker
About the RoleAs a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals living with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strong relationships with clients and provide person-centred active support.
- Administer medication as required and transport participants to appointments.
- Contribute to implementing programs designed for client development and independence.
- Document report writing and maintain accurate records.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current Working with Children Check (for paid employment).
- A current NDIS Worker Check.
- A current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; HLTAID011).
- A National Police Check (via appropriate service).
- A current driver's licence (minimum P2) and a vehicle capable of transporting 4+ people.
- Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Certificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Ability to work a 7-day roster and willingness to participate in pre-employment medical checks.
- Two professional references.
- Certificate IV Disability or Disability Support, or equivalent.
- Certificate III in Individual Support.
- Certificate III in Aged Care.
