Job Opportunity:

Retail lighting supervisors are responsible for overseeing the implementation of lighting designs in retail environments. Their goal is to ensure that installations meet customer expectations and are completed on time.

The Role Includes:

  • Assisting with customer inquiries, both in person and over the phone
  • Engaging in counter sales, including customer development
  • Maintaining a professional store presentation
  • Managing stock levels
  • Creating quotations and following up on outstanding orders
  • Using design knowledge to develop unique lighting solutions for clients
  • Staying up to date with the latest technology and trends in design
  • Interpreting house and electrical plans to create inspirational lighting designs and conduct lighting energy audits
  • Seeking out project opportunities in the retail and trade markets
  • Recommending products and placement solutions to enhance clients' environments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in lighting design or a related field
  • Previous experience in sourcing new business and generating leads
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the job
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Competent PC skills
  • A professional personal presentation
